In the first part I discuss the Einstein’s theory.”

1- “in first part” hay là “in a first part” hay “in the first part”? 2- “I discuss” hay “I will discuss”? 3- “the Einstein’s theory” hay “Einstein’s theory”

Chúng ta sẽ thử kiểm tra qua Google nhé!

“in first part” – 52.000 “in a first part” – 114.000 “in the first part” – 1.210.000

“I discuss” – 1.240.000 “I will discuss” – 1.060.000

“In the first part I discuss” – 3.530 “In the first part I will discuss” – 6.090

“the Einstein’s theory” – 1.960 “Einstein’s theory” – 475.000

Trong đó, những kết quả liệt kê lên đầu tiên sẽ là “Will I be happy”, “How can I be happy”, “Should I be happy” và những cấu trúc tương tự.

“I said I be happy” – 2 “I said I am happy” – 516

Spice Girl expected to announce reunion

LONDON (Reuters) - The Spice Girls are expected to announce a reunion tour on Thursday, ending months of speculation about the five-member band that brought "girl power" to the British music scene.

The band sold around 55 million albums and topped charts around the world before Posh, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Ginger decided to go it alone -- with varying degrees of success.

Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell left the group in 1998 and the other four have pursued solo careers and jobs outside music since their last album "Forever" in November, 2000.

"The Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on Thursday 28th June," their management said in a statement last week.

"No further information can be given at this time but given the band's unique history, you can be sure to expect the unexpected," Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment said.

In a recent radio interview, Melanie Chisholm, known as "Sporty Spice", said she admired boy band Take That, who have enjoyed huge success since reforming, even without the help of former member Robbie Williams.

British media report that the Spice Girls stand to make millions of pounds each from the reunion tour, which is expected to be accompanied by a new album and a television documentary.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Victoria "Posh" Beckham has maintained the highest profile since the band split, helped by her superstar soccer-playing husband David and regular appearances at fashion shows and on tabloid front pages.

The couple are moving to Los Angeles where David has signed to play for L.A. Galaxy, and Victoria appears determined to carve out a career of her own in fashion and television.

Other bandmates have been less fortunate after pursuing singing careers that never matched the success of the group.

Melanie "Scary" Brown largely disappeared from the public eye until a high-profile paternity case involving Hollywood star Eddie Murphy.

Earlier this month a DNA test confirmed Murphy as the father of Brown's newborn baby girl after he declined to publicly acknowledge paternity.

Reaction to news of the reunion has been mixed.

While media interest in reviving the band that once epitomised female empowerment is high, it has also been met with considerable cynicism.

"So why have a reunion?" asked the Daily Mirror tabloid. "Maybe it really is for the fans. Or perhaps it's because Sporty, Scary, Posh, Ginger and Baby need each other more than we need them."

Heart survival "higher" in obese

HEART SURVIVAL 'HIGHER' IN OBESE

Obesity is linked to a risk of heart diseaseObese heart attack and angina patients are more likely to survive after treatment, a study suggests.
Researchers found obese patients were less than half as likely to die in the three years after treatment as patients with a normal body mass index.
The German and Swiss study - involving 1,676 patients and in the European Heart Journal - could not explain why.
And experts warned obese people were more likely to develop heart problems in the first place.
The evidence from our study shows once a coronary event has occurred and been optimally treated, obese patients switch to a more favourable prognosis
Dr Heinz Buettner
The study followed 1,676 patients who were hospitalised with unstable angina or a specific type of heart attack called a non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
Standard treatment was a coronary angiography to diagnose the extent of the problem, followed by a process to unblock the arteries called coronary revascularisation or a coronary artery bypass graft.
Lead researcher Dr Heinz Buettner said: "Although there is no doubt that people who are overweight, obese and very obese have a higher risk of developing diabetes, hypertension and coronary artery disease, the evidence from our study shows once a coronary event has occurred and been optimally treated, obese patients switch to a more favourable prognosis compared to normal weight patients."
The obese patients tended to be younger than the normal weight patients, and were more likely to be given prescriptions for heart drugs such as statins and beta-blockers on discharge from hospital.
But Dr Buettner said his analysis suggested that neither of these two factors could fully explain the lower mortality rate.
Protective effect
He said it was possible that differences in body chemistry caused by obesity might play a role.
For instance, levels of blood platelets, which can affect clotting, are lower in obese patients, while levels of fat in the heart tissue, which might have a protective effect, are higher.
Another theory is that the higher levels of endogenous cannabinoids in obese people might be key. There is a growing body of evidence to suggest that these chemicals have a protective effect during a heart attack.
Dr Buettner said it was important that obese people made efforts to lose weight.
He said: "Not all patients can be treated with early revascularisation because an acute coronary syndrome always has the risk of sudden cardiac death.
"It is well known that even a modest intentional weight loss can improve or prevent obesity-related cardiovascular risk factors."
June Davison, of the British Heart Foundation, said the study raised more questions than it answered.
"Further research is needed for us to understand the reasons for this link," she said.
"What we are sure of, is that if you are overweight you have a higher risk of developing high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and diabetes in the first place."

Amazon is the largest river in the world

AMAZON RIVER 'LONGER THAN NILE'

The new study puts the Amazon at 6,800kmScientists in Brazil are claiming to have established as a scientific fact that the Amazon is the longest river in the world.
The Amazon is recognised as the world's largest river by volume, but has generally been regarded as second in length to the River Nile in Egypt.
The claim follows an expedition to Peru that is said to have established a new starting point further south.
It puts the Amazon at 6,800km (4,250 miles) compared to the Nile's 6,695km.
Mountain source
The precise length of a river is not easy to calculate and depends on correctly identifying the source and the mouth.
The new claim in Brazil follows an expedition by scientists which is said to have discovered a new source for the Amazon in the south of Peru and not the north of the country as had been thought for many years.
While the exact location has yet to be confirmed from two choices, scientists say either would make the river the longest in the world.
Guido Gelli, director of science at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, told the Brazilian network TV Globo that today it could already be considered as a fact that the Amazon was the longest river in the world.
The Amazon is now said to begin in an ice-covered mountain in southern Peru called Mismi.
Researchers travelled for 14 days, sometimes in freezing temperatures, to establish the location at an altitude of 5,000m.
There has been a healthy academic debate over the world's longest river for some years and the claim from Brazil may not go unchallenged.

Wonders bid for heritage status

Wonders bid for heritage status

IUCN's nominations for the UN World Heritage List

In pictures

Five of the world's natural wonders have been nominated for inclusion on the UN World Heritage List.
A biodiversity-rich rainforest in Madagascar and Tenerife's volcanic landscape are among the sites favoured by the World Conservation Union (IUCN).
A total of 37 natural and cultural sites will be considered by the UN World Heritage Committee.
The committee will make its final decision at its annual meeting, which begins on 23 June in New Zealand.
The prestigious list, co-ordinated by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), was set up to ensure the long-term protection of globally important cultural and natural sites.
The five locations selected for consideration by the IUCN, an official advisory body to Unesco, are:
South China Karst: described as being unrivalled for the diversity of its karst features - a unique underground landscape formed by water eroding limestone and marble rocks

Rainforests of Atsinanana, Madagascar: home to a unique array of species, 80-90% of which are only found on the island nation. Deforestation has destroyed more than 90% of the original forest.

Jeju volcanic island, Korea: includes a shield volcano that is about 1.2 million years old, and an "impressive and significant" system of lava tubes (underground tunnels formed by lava flows)

Primeval beech forests, eastern Europe: found in Slovakia and Ukraine, the woodlands are "an outstanding example of undisturbed, complex temperate forests"

Teide National Park, Spain: situated on the island of Tenerife, the park was nominated for its "mature, slow-moving and geologically complex volcanic system"

The IUCN will also propose that the committee considers taking action to improve the level of protection for existing World Heritage sites that have been identified as being at risk.
These include the Galapagos Islands, where the number of tourists have increased to more than 120,000 per year - a three-fold increase over the past 16 years.
The islands were made a World Heritage Site 30 years ago for their unique plant and animal life.
The diversity of species found on the Pacific archipelago inspired naturalist Charles Darwin and helped him develop his theory of evolution.
Down not out
Charles Darwin's home and workplace in southern England, Down House, has been formally removed from this year's nomination list by the UK government.

Darwin heritage bid stopped
Culture Minister David Lammy made the decision after receiving advice from the International Council on Monuments and Sites (Icomos).
The assessment raised questions about the "outstanding universal value" of the bid.
However, the government said it felt the council failed to recognise the site's significance to the heritage of science and confirmed that a renewed submission would be presented in 2009.

Paris Hilton is end back to jail

Paris Hilton is sent back to jail

Hilton has been sent to a jail treatment centre for medical tests
Hilton leaves home Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton has been taken screaming from a Los Angeles court after being told to return to jail to serve out her sentence.
The celebrity heiress was ordered to attend the hearing rather than listen to the proceeding by telephone.
Hilton left jail on Thursday, just three days into a 45-day sentence for violating probation on a driving ban.
Her release from detention, on unspecified medical grounds, had sparked widespread criticism.
Hilton attended court to hear the case for her "reassignment" to house arrest.
I'm just going to keep [Hilton] in a better facility for her condition, meaning one that has a more intense form of medical support
Lee BacaLA county sheriff
She arrived in handcuffs and cried throughout the court session.
The judge said that she would have to serve her full 45-day sentence.
"It's not right!" she shouted in response, before calling out to her mother, who was at the court.
'Severe problems'
Hilton will stay for a few days at a treatment centre at Twin Towers jail in LA for medical and psychiatric examination to determine which jail she will be sent to, sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore said.
LA county sheriff Lee Baca defended his earlier decision to release Hilton on medical grounds, saying "this lady has some severe problems".
He suggested that her problems were psychological.
"I'm just going to keep her in a better facility for her condition, meaning one that has a more intense form of medical support, and will watch her behaviour so there isn't anything that is harmfully done to herself by herself," Mr Baca said.
She had been held at the Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood, California, in a special unit for celebrities, public officials, police officers and other high-profile inmates, and has so far served five days of her sentence.
Specific details of her medical problem have been withheld for "privacy reasons".

Human antibodies protect mice from avian flu

Human antibodies protect mice from avian flu

Washington (VNA) - An international team of scientists have used antibodies derived from immune cells from recent human survivors of H5N1 avian influenza to successfully treat H5N1-infected mice and perhaps lay the building blocks for a potential cure for the virus.

“The possibility of an influenza pandemic, whether sparked by H5N1 or another influenza virus to which humans have no natural immunity, is of serious concern to the global health community,” said Anthony S. Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in the US.

“If the success of this initial study is confirmed through further laboratory and clinical trials, human antibodies could prove to be valuable therapeutic and public health interventions for pandemic influenza,” the director added.

The research represented a three-way collaboration among researchers at NIAID, the Institute for Research in Switzerland, the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, and the Ho Chi Minh City’s Hospital for Tropical Diseases. The authors are already planning to further develop the research.-Enditem

Modern Family in Britain

Modern British Families

Mother and kids

Father leaves for work in the morning after breakfast. The two children take the bus to school, and mother stays at home cooking and cleaning until father and the kids return home in the evening. This is the traditional picture of a happy family living in Britain. But is it true today? The answer is - no! The past 20 years have seen enormous changes in the lives and structures of families in Britain, and the traditional model is no longer true in many cases.

The biggest change has been caused by divorce. As many as 2 out of 3 marriages now end in divorce, leading to a situation where many children live with one parent and only see the other at weekends or holidays.

There has also been a huge rise in the number of mothers who work. The large rise in divorces has meant many women need to work to support themselves and their children. Even when there is no divorce, many families need both parents to work in order to survive. This has caused an increase in childcare facilities, though they are very expensive and can be difficult to find in many areas. In addition, women are no longer happy to stay at home raising children, and many have careers earning as much as or even more than men, the traditional breadwinners.

There has also been a sharp increase in the number of single mothers, particularly among teenagers. Many of their children grow up never knowing their fathers, and some people feel the lack of a male role model has a damaging effect on their lives.

However, these changes have not had a totally negative effect. For women, it is now much easier to have a career and good salary. Although it is difficult to be a working mother, it has become normal and it's no longer seen as a bad thing for the children. As for children themselves, some argue that modern children grow up to be more independent and mature than in the past. From an early age they have to go to childminders or nurseries, and so they are used to dealing with strangers and mixing with other children.

So while the traditional model of a family may no longer be true in modern Britain, the modern family continues to raise happy, successful children.
